- 20 saltines, crushed

- 2 pounds chopped clams, rinsed, drained, and chopped fine
- 1 cup heavy cream

Directions
- Cook bacon in large saucepan over medium heat until crisp, 6 to 8 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towel-lined plate. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon fat from saucepan. - 3-4 large potatoes peeled and 1/2 cubed. Boil 7 minutes in lightly salted water. Drain.
- 3-4 strips bacon, lardoned. Fried til crispy. Keep fat.
- 1 good sized onion. Chopped.
- 3 ribs celery. Chopped.
- 3 cans minced clams
- Bottle clam juice
- Cream.
- Maybe some chicken stock.
- Tabasco.
Directions
