Tammy's Notes
This amount of sauce goes with 2 cups coleslaw mix. Dress coleslaw 30 minutes before serving.
Ingredients
- 4 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
- 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
- In a large bowl combine the cabbage, carrot, green pepper, and onion. To prepare dressing, stir together mayonnaise of salad dressing, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and salt. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture; toss lightly to coat vegetables. Cover and chill.
