- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 cup cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 T. grated orange peel
- 1-1/2 t. baking powder
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 2 T. shortening or oil
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Sift (Mix) together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder & sugar.
- Combine in separate bowl orange peel, orange juice, shortening or oil & boiling water and add to dry ingredients.
