Deb's Notes
This is the original recipe I got from Florence. These are my tweaks: I don't usually use the burger. Seems like a lot of meat to me if it is being served with other meat. I chop the bacon and mix it in, and I probably don't use quite that much. I usually put in more than 1/4 c. onion. I use 3 cans of pork and beans instead of 1. And now you can tweak it to suit your tastes!
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound hamburger, fried
- 1/2 pound sliced bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (1 LB) can butter beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can pork and beans
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
Directions
- Mix and bake 40 min. at 350.
