Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1-1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 6-8 potatoes, peeled

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate potatoes.
  2. In a bowl, add onion and grated cheese.
  3. Heat soups in pan with butter.
  4. Remove from heat when boiling, stir in sour cream.
  5. Pour over potato mixture.
  6. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

Variation

  • Top with cheese and crushed corn flakes. Dot with 2 tbsp. butter.
