Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 oz. blanco tequila
  • 3/4 oz. agave nectar
  • 1-1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
  • 3-1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz. strawberry-balsamic purée
  • 4 oz. crushed ice

Directions

  1. Blend all of the ingredients until smooth, then pour into a glass and garnish.
  2. Strawberry-Balsamic Purée (makes enough for 4 drinks): Blend 2 oz. of fresh or frozen strawberries with 2 tsp. of balsamic vinegar and 6 oz. of turbinado syrup (2:1). Refrigerate the remainder and use within a day or two.
